FITNESS PHILOSOPHY PERSONAL TRAINING FAQ
Q. Do you believe in workout programs like Insanity or P90X?
A. These are great workout programs for intermediate to advanced athletes and will be effective. However, for beginners, I suggest guidance in proper form and technique prior to engaging in unsupervised activity.

Q. What do you feel is the most important thing a bodybuilder/fitness/figure/bikini can have in order to be successful in this sport?
A. Persistence and a good attitude.

Q. What is your favorite healthy meal?
A. my eggwhite oatmeal blueberry muffins

Q. What is your favorite cheat meal?
A. pizza

Q. What are your methods for breaking through a plateau?
A. The body is designed to adapt to stress. Minor changes in diet and exercise to keep the body guessing will prove effective.

Q. What is your daily workout routine?
A. After my morning coffee, I begin my workout with 1 hour of cardio. During the second half of my day, I focus on weight training.

Q. I work out everyday, but is there anything else I could be doing to make mine a more holistic routine?
A. I incorporate proper nutrition, all-natural supplementation, herbs and acupuncture. I would highly recommend adding these things to round out your routine.

Q. What does your diet consist of?
A. I practice a low fat, high protein, moderate carb diet. I eat 6 meals a day, at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm and 12am. I begin with a breakfast of 6 egg whites, oatmeal and blueberries. I end the day with a lean chicken breast, asparagus and a salad. In between I eat a lot of greens and protein packed foods.

Q. What is one important diet tip?
A. I think one of the most important things is not to deprive yourself, or you ultimately end up binging.

Q. What do you do in your spare time?
A. I really enjoy cooking and trying new healthy recipes. I love being outdoors, whether it's on the water, running through my neighborhood or out by the pool. I also love to read anything that has to do with nutrition or fashion.
