Rookie beginnings..

In my attempt to master the social networking tools that are so beneficial to a rookie pro I often ask myself: to blog, or not to blog..better yet, what do I blog about?  Thanks to Gaspari Nutrition I have been honored with an athlete profile/blog and now all these questions have been running through my head.  I wonder what people most want to know, how much information is appropriate or how personal do I get.. Decision time!

As a personal trainer I have realized my passion for helping others and how rewarding it is to have a positive impact on those around me.  Since turning pro and being featured on the cover of Muscle and Fitness HERS,  I have encountered an onslaught of new clients looking for guidance and now see the importance of sharing my knowledge and experiences from my personal journey. I have had mentors along the way and I stand firm in the belief that you are truly successful when you help others succeed.

So here is my plan.

When it comes to fitness, every person is motivated by different things, has different capabilities, restraints, likes and dislikes, etc. So I could blog about general tips and recommendations that may or may not help or I can blog about what I know best.  Me.  I will share my trials, errors, successes and all the things I think and learn along the way in hopes that it may be useful to you.  My blogs will be direct from my thoughts, unfiltered, no rough drafts, just me... Sure it is a bit scary to think of letting you in on what goes on inside, but with success comes responsibility and I feel responsible for giving you the reality, sugar coating-free.
